Terms for using Stage Timer Pro

These terms explain how you may download, try, purchase, activate, and use CONNECD Stage Timer Pro. Please read them before using the software or placing an order.

Effective Date

These Terms and Conditions are effective as of May 11, 2026. By downloading, installing, ordering, activating, or using Stage Timer Pro, you agree to these terms.

If you are using the software for an organization, production company, venue, or client, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.

1. The Service

Stage Timer Pro is a live event timing application for stage managers, production teams, venues, speakers, and event operators. The software may include timer controls, display output, presets, auto cues, urgent messages, activation, licensing, and related support services.

Some features may vary by plan, license type, platform, app version, operating system, or device capability.

2. License and Permitted Use

When you purchase or activate Stage Timer Pro, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software according to the license type you selected.

  • Trial: limited free access for evaluation only.
  • Event Pass: time-limited access for a specific short-term event or production use.
  • Subscription: access for the subscription period stated at purchase.
  • Lifetime: long-term use under the current lifetime license policy, subject to these terms.

You may not resell, rent, sublicense, reverse engineer, modify, bypass license controls, share license keys publicly, or use the software in a way that violates law or damages our systems.

3. Activation and Machine ID

Licenses may be tied to a Machine ID or device fingerprint. You are responsible for entering the correct Machine ID during ordering or activation. If a license is generated for the wrong Machine ID because incorrect information was provided, support may require verification before replacing or transferring the license.

Lifetime licenses may support device transfer according to the transfer process published in the app or support portal. Subscription and Event Pass licenses may have stricter device limits.

4. Trial, Orders, and Payment

Trial access is provided for evaluation and may be limited in duration or features. Paid orders are processed based on the package, price, and payment method shown at checkout.

If manual payment confirmation is used, your license may be delivered after payment verification. If a payment gateway is used, payment status is confirmed by the payment provider and our server records. The payment provider may apply its own terms, security checks, processing rules, fees, or refund procedures.

We do not require you to send full payment card details to us. Payment card or bank details, when applicable, should be entered only through the secure payment provider interface.

Prices, packages, and promotions may change over time. Changes do not automatically affect completed purchases unless stated otherwise.

5. Refunds, Cancellations, and Renewals

Because Stage Timer Pro includes a free trial and license keys may be generated for a specific device, purchases are generally final once a license key has been issued or activated.

Refunds may be considered case by case for duplicate payment, failed delivery, or verified technical issues that prevent reasonable use of the software. Event Pass payments may be non-refundable once the event access period has started.

Subscription renewal, cancellation, or upgrade terms depend on the package and payment method used at the time of purchase.

6. Updates and Availability

We may release updates, bug fixes, feature changes, license improvements, or compatibility updates. Some updates may require a newer operating system or a new installer.

Although the app is designed for offline use after activation, certain actions such as downloading installers, contacting support, payment confirmation, email delivery, or online activation checks may require internet access.

7. Support

Support is provided through the support portal or official contact channels. We may ask for your order reference, email, Machine ID, license key, app version, operating system, screenshots, logs, or event timeline to help resolve an issue.

Support response times may vary depending on workload, time zone, event urgency, and the completeness of the information provided.

8. Data and Privacy

Use of our website, downloads, orders, license activation, online status checks, support requests, and payment confirmation may involve the collection and processing of personal or technical information. This may include contact details, order details, payment status, Machine ID, IP address, approximate location from IP, app version, platform, download history, and support messages.

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and how you can contact us about privacy requests. These Terms should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

Do not submit sensitive event, client, full payment card, or confidential production information unless it is necessary for support.

9. Limitation of Liability

Live events can involve many factors outside our control, including hardware, projectors, displays, cables, operating system behavior, power, venue internet, and user operation. Stage Timer Pro is provided as a professional tool, but you remain responsible for testing your setup before an event and maintaining a backup plan.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CONNECD and Stage Timer Pro will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-business damages arising from use or inability to use the software.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the software or services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
